About the class

This 3-day course will give you foundational knowledge of the techniques used in watercolour painting. In a small group, you will be able to develop your skills and build your confidence in watercolour painting. 

During the course, you will get acquainted with several watercolour techniques such as the dry technique, wet on wet technique, as well as the drip technique.

You will learn the basics of shading, colour theory and mixing colours through unique KWASSIE technical exercises, painting botanicals, followed by landscape painting.

The course will also give you insight into the tools of watercolour, which paper, colour and brushes to use, as well as expert tips on assembling your own kit.

Material

All material (high-end watercolours, professional-grade watercolour paper, brushes and other) are included in the price of this course. An apron is available to use on site.

The session is instructed in German or English

What will you take home?

At the end of the course, you will have many different complete watercolour works to take home with you. You will have foundational knowledge for independent painting, and you are then welcome to join our Open Painting Sessions to continue developing and practicing you skills!
